My new(almost new - 6.9hrs.) TC30 was delivered this morning. A guy bought it, tried it out for 1 day, and returned it in exchange for a TC40. So, I got the TC30 w/60" MMM, Ind. tires, & HST for $12800 plus tax with the full warranty still in effect. I had been looking at Kubota B2910's L3010's & NH TC29's & TC30's, when I saw this deal I just couldn't pass it up. Any opinions on the price?

This tractor is replacing my 8N and my Kubota B6100. The 8N was too old and prone to breakdown, and the Kubota was too small. I'm selling the 8N, but keeping the Kubota because I don't want to spend the money for a new FEL and snowblower for the TC30 right now.

I'm excited, 3 more hours of work and I can go home and try this thing out.

I recently purchased a TC30 myself. I paid $12,200 for mine (no mower). 4X4, hydro, turfs, plus $2,900 for the loader. I think you saved some $$$.

Ahh, you don't look so good...a little pale... probably should knock off early...

Congratulations on the tractor. I looked at a TC30 at my dealer's lot a while back; it looks to be functionally the same as my TC29. You got a good deal.

The TC29 has some extra features compared to the TC30, but the price I was quoted for a TC29 with mower was $15,500. The TC29 has a spring suspended seat, telescoping 3ph lower arms, folding ROPS, plastic body work, tilt&telescoping steering wheel, & cruise control; while the TC30 does not have these as standard. The TC30 I got had the cruise as a dealer installed option. The only thing I didn't get that would have been nice is the 3ph telescoping arms - but I could probably buy these if I really needed them.

Oh yeah!!! Almost time to go play with my new toy! ....

I have had my new TC29 almost a month now. Its a gear drive unit, with a live PTO. It doesn't have the fancy seat, Telescopic steering or cruise control. But was already equipped with the deluxe 3PT hitch arms, folding ROPS and R4's.Price on tractor alone was $12,975. The dealer was advertising a special of $13,975 with a 7308 loader. This was for the gear drive, without a live PTO. We wanted the live PTO which added another $1,000. Then had him trade the 7308 FEL straight across for a Woods 1012 FEL, with a 66" HD bucket. Then he dropped the price on a new Woods 7500 backhoe from $6,100 to $5,500. Out the door price $20,475.
Excellant package at an excellant price. I couldn't be happier
The hydro tranny on your TC30 would have added another $1,000 or so. All in all it appears that you've made an excellant deal. Have fun. ....

TC29 in Wa.,

Sounds like you got a good deal too, the tractor price sounds average, but the FEL price sounds excellent. $20K for a TC29 w/FEL and backhoe is a good deal. Glad to hear you are happy with it.

I will be adding a FEL and backhoe eventually. FEL will be first, as soon as I get time to build one. I built one three years ago for my Kubota B6100, it works great but it actually to big for the Kubota, so I will pull it off and modify it for the TC30.

Mowed the lawn last night, took about half the time it used to. Gonna try out the TC30 with the rotary cutter, plow, and box blade this weekend. ....

Steven, if your TC30 is hydro you got a great deal. Hope you like it. I've had mine a couple months now and I love it. There are 4 reasons I like it better than my old tractors: more power, no breakdowns, hydrostatic, power steering.

I've used it for finish mowing, bush hogging, grading driveway w/4' box blade, & plowing the garden. Only complaint is I want a bigger plow now.

Good luck with your tractor. ....
